Built the social media strategy for the New England Aquarium's newly-formed applied research institute: the Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life. In 2018, I grew social media numbers by nearly 200% across all platforms, tripling the number of followers. 
  • HIGHLIGHT: In 2018, I grew social media numbers by nearly 200%, tripling the number of followers. From November 2017 to November 2018, Facebook followers grew by 170%, twitter by 190%, and Instagram by 885%.
  • INSTAGRAM STORY: An Instagram Story highlighting the Anderson Cabot Center FSET Team. Went out in the field with researchers to collect photo/video/interviews. CLICK HERE.
  • SAMPLE CAMPAIGN: Led a social media awareness campaign with partner agencies to highlight the risks of the current Administration to the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument. Result was a petition that exceeded target goal by 25%. CLICK HERE.​

The Accounts of the New England Aquarium President and CEO

Led the team on a Facebook Live series featuring the New England Aquarium President and CEO Vikki Spruill. "Harborside Chats" took place monthly on the New England Aquarium Facebook Page. Spruill interviewed a member of the Aquarium staff to highlight the work happening around the institute and across the globe. Also Responsible for content curation for Spruill's Twitter presence (@VikkiSpruill).

Interim social media lead for the New England Aquarium, which had a reach of more than 600,000 followers across all platforms during the period in question. Responsible for driving traffic to the Aquarium gate, coordinating with an agency on weekly sponsored ads, and spreading the Aquarium's conservation and education messages through photo, video, and blog posts. ​

February 2016 - September 2017

Social media manager for NOAA Climate's official social media channels. Responsible for development of monthly social media campaigns and image creation and petitioning to highlight the work across the agency.
