Emily Greenhalgh is currently the web editor and technology reporter for Providence Business News. She's a graduate of Boston University's Science & Medical Journalism program and enjoys writing about everything from the medical industry to ocean and environmental science.
She has been a contributing writer to RI EPSCoR's The Current publication, MassDevice.com, The Bermudian magazine, The Royal Gazette newspaper and R.I. Seagrant's 41 Degrees North publication. Emily has a Bachelor's degree in marine biology from the University of Rhode Island and used to work on commercial fishing boats before she tired of the constant seasickness and decided to go back to graduate school. She is a native New Englander and in her spare time, Emily enjoys rock climbing, camping, and watching the occasional episode of MacGyver. Emily currently lives in Cranston, RI. |
